Privacy policy

Private by design.

Effective August 9, 2026. Reclaim is built around a simple promise: your attention history belongs to you.

Overview

Reclaim is a local-first iPhone app. No Reclaim account is required. We collect only what is necessary to provide purchases and support the product.

Screen Time and app selections

Apple’s Screen Time frameworks process activity inside privacy-preserving system extensions. Your raw Screen Time, app activity, website activity, and opaque Family Controls selections are not sent to Sweet Little Apps, RevenueCat, Plausible, or CloudKit.

Because Apple limits Screen Time access by design, the main app receives only the summaries made available by its report extension. Reclaim uses those summaries to show your baseline, goal, patterns, and progress on your device.

Focus history and personalization

Reclaim stores protected-session history, categories, durations, reflections, routines, challenges, milestones, and preferences locally. Personal suggestions are derived from your own patterns, such as the categories and times you commonly choose. Reclaim does not use an advertising profile or data broker to personalize the experience.

Private iCloud sync

If iCloud is available, your preferred name, Reclaim Plan, focus history, challenge participation, and reflections may sync through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. Sweet Little Apps does not operate an account system and does not receive that private synced content. Screen Time authorization and system-managed app selections remain device-specific under Apple’s rules.

Subscriptions

Apple processes payments. Reclaim uses RevenueCat to load offerings and validate purchase entitlements. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated anonymous App User ID, technical app/device information, and transaction information needed to provide that service. Reclaim does not send RevenueCat your name, raw Screen Time, app selections, focus history, or reflections.

See RevenueCat’s privacy policy.

Analytics, advertising, and tracking

The Reclaim app does not include advertising SDKs, cross-app tracking, or third-party behavioral analytics. A privacy-safe allowlist of product-event counters may be stored locally; those counters are not transmitted by the current version.

This website uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate visits and outbound-link use. Plausible is designed without cookies or cross-site profiles. Website analytics are separate from the app and never include Screen Time data. See Plausible’s data policy.

Notifications

Notification preferences are stored on your device. Reclaim may schedule routine starts, quiet reflections, weekly summaries, milestones, or learned suggestions according to settings you control. Notification content is created locally and can be disabled at any time.

Your privacy choices

You can revoke Screen Time access in iOS Settings, disable notifications, manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple Account, delete local data by deleting Reclaim, and remove synced Reclaim data through Apple's iCloud controls. Retention and deletion

Children

Reclaim is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Family Controls permission and Apple Account requirements remain governed by Apple and applicable family settings.

Security and changes

We use platform security controls and minimize transmitted data, but no storage or network system can be guaranteed completely secure. We may update this policy as Reclaim changes; the current effective date will always appear here.
